2020 APEC Marine Spatial Planning Training Workshop held successfully in Xiamen

On November 24th, the 2020 APEC Marine Spatial Planning Training Workshop was held in Xiamen online and offline simultaneously. More than 80 delegates from 11 APEC economies including Canada, Chile, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Vietnam, and representatives from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) participated in this event and engaged in extensive communication in terms of MSP status, policy and implementation. Under the support of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Natural Resources, this workshop was organized by APEC Marine Sustainable Development Center (AMSDC) and Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources, and co-organized by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Oceanography and Coastal and Ocean Management Institute, Xiamen University.
2020 APEC Marine Spatial Planning Training Workshop is the 9th training workshop conducted by AMSDC from 2011.
